Description
A look at the last of the light from the sunset reflecting in the waves and beach. This was taken along the Washington State coast on the Long Beach Peninsula.
Long Beach is aptly named, for at 28 miles, it is the longest natural beach in the United States. Known for the year-round mild weather, visitors will find plenty to see and do in Long Beach.
The beach is dog friendly and popular for horseback rides. Like many other seaside towns, Long Beach is fun for the whole family with carousel and carnival rides, arcades, bumper cars and many more activities.
Take a stroll on the popular boardwalk while enjoying the view of the majestic ocean and pristine beach. Crossing beneath the Boardwalk leads to the Discovery Trail which travels through dunes from north Long Beach into Ilwaco. This trail is just one of the monuments dedicated to Lewis and Clark located through town.
Every August the Washington State International Kite Festival brings hundreds of kite flyers. Be sure to stop by the World Kite Museum and Hall of Fame which features the history of kite flying, photographs and every kind of kite imaginable. Many other festivals provide entertainment such as Sandsations, a sand building competition held every year in July.

L F This is an awesome sunset! I have never seen reflections like this on ocean waves. It is a very beautiful image! I love how the gold and the blue works together.

This is the only time I seen one like this and I was luck to be at the right place the right time. If I remember right my wife took me to this spot.
