Description

Here is a detail of my limited edition bronze wildlife bowl, In the Wild, showing closeups of the bighorn sheep, beaver and skunk. The bighorn ram crossed my path high up in the Snowy Range on the cliffs near Lake Marie. I'd never seen a bighorn sheep there before, and the magnificent surprise took my breath away! I love to watch the beavers at their pond, sometimes lingering long past dusk to hear them slap their tales at any disturbance, or carrying out their nightly aspen-chewing as this one does. As for the skunk, he dances on his forefeet and waves his tail in warning as I wend up a nighttime trail. Respectfully I give him a wide berth, and we both go on our merry ways.
