Description
A golden mantled ground squirrel keeping a sharp eye on me. The stump that the root is connected to is in an old clear cut and was pulled up and was left on its side with the root sticking up. The root which is about six feet long is hollow all the way to the stump so the squirrel has a tunnel up to the top.
