Description
Traffic swirls around the Place de l' Opera as it has for almost 150 years. What would Hausmann and Garnier think of today's austere architecture? The Paris Opera is a tribute to the eclecticism of mid 19th century style; and truly can be considered the heart of today's Paris.

I was walking by the side of the Opera and trying to capture all the forms and shapes. It was not a great day for photography. Hazy. When I got home I almost discarded this photo out of frustration. Then I went into it to try and express what I originally felt. Thanks for the kind validation. Much appreciated.
