Metamora Inn brings The Painting Workshops of Daryl Urig.
Daryl is a national traveling painting workshop instructor. He has taught from East to West Coast on his National Workshop Tour. Now he is bringing it home to Indiana.

Daryl's passion and enthusiasm will surely inspire any painter. Trained at Columbus College of Art & Design, working in the filed for over 30 years while being an Adjunct Professor for the University of Cincinnati for over 10 years. His experience and understanding of the medium will renew your painting abilities.

Location?
Metamora, Indiana 1838 Canal Town one of America\'s Best Kept Secrets. Escape to the past and experience the 1800's. Only one hour from Cincinnati Ohio. Visit the gristmill and pick up a bag of their freshly stone-ground cornmeal. Take a ride in the horse drawn canal boat. Board a train for a short trip on the Whitewater Railroad. While enjoying the people, old time shops and eateries in a nostalgia time of the year.

It is the perfect spot for an Artist Retreat. Enjoy two days of painting and two night stay at The Metamora Inn, Bed and Breakfast accompanied with old fashion charm and cooking. Special diets are welcome.

Workshop Description
Plein Air Painting Workshop in 1838 Canal Town (Metamora Indiana)
Workshop will focus on plein air painting with a knife or brush. While capturing natural light on Old Town Structures, People in Places, Locomotives and Horse Drawn Canal Boats on the water.

If the weather is not permitting us to paint outside we will paint indoors from a still life, photo or figure. Please bring your digital cameras so we may take pictures in town to paint from. I will bring a printer.
