The Way and the Wayfarers
Paintings by Joshua Hogan
Joshua Hogan's new series of abstract paintings are inspired by the Khalil Gibran essay, "On Crime and Punishment" in his poetic book The Prophet. The paintings visually respond to the idea of self-preservation. Hogan attempts to express the influence of personal relationships (we make choices and decisions that directly affect the way we experience each other and the way wider communities experience us).
