The Marguerite Rose Burton Art Award Show

The Marguerite Rose Burton Art Award Show is scheduled for April 29th thru May 10th (judging is on May 4th) with opening reception on Sunday May 5th from 1 to 3. During the reception, light refreshments will be served, and everyone will be able to vote on their favorite painting in the category \\\"Lawrence Co Landmarks & Tourist Attractions\\\". The show is being held at the Crockett Arts Center, next door to the historic Crockett Theater.
This contest is only open to Lawrence county artists high school age & above, because it is funded by the Marguerite Rose Burton Trust Fund and thus winnings are intended to stay in Lawrence county; however, all are welcome to come and enjoy the artwork.
