I have found that instructing artist with painting knives or as they are sometimes called, palette knives to be hugely valuable. I want to help students to gain brush or knife control, paint application, creating textures, paint thickness, color mixing skills and mixing accurate colors to create space. I would even insist that all painters spend a year with painting knives. The benefits can be appreciated by the STUDIO or PLEIN-AIR painter. This should not be overlooked by any serious painter. All Levels Welcome, Acrylic or Oil Paint.
