If the creek don\'t rise and the roads are open, we\'re having a Stop the Winter Madness opening at ARTSONTEN.

There will be refreshments and a chance to meet and chat with two Flesherton artists.
Holger Majorahn, created his series: End of the Day, a menagerie of domestic creatures posing in front of dramatic evening skies. Jennifer Stenberg painted Hot and Cold - a collection stemming from dreams of last summer and actually enjoying some wild winter moments.

Here\'s your chance to catch up on the news - who stuck it out, and who fled the nastiest winter in decades.

Topics of discussion will likely cover:
- How to stop walking like a penguin, before July,
- The easiest way to thaw hair,
- A step-by-step guide to creating a fabulous installation piece made of worn out snow shovels,
- What to do with the extra time you\'ll have when you don\'t have to don 40 layers of clothing,
- The skyrocketing price of kindling.
The day will likely end with a rousing rendition of Paul Simon\'s Slip Sliding Away.
