Shop and Dine Beauregard Town Art and jewelry Walk

Showcasing over 12 local artisans, this event is on Saturday 8 DEC 2012 from 5:30 pm till 9:00 pm and is being hosted by three (3) small businesses to bring awareness to some of the services, products, and destinations worth visiting in the SOGO (South Of Government Street) District of Beauregard Town.

Salon Dolce\' at 705 Saint Joseph Street along with the Beauregard Gallery at 715 Europe Street and the African American Museum at 538 South Blvd will host Open House to start the Holiday Season and welcome you into one of the side doors of downtown Baton Rouge.


Both Salon Dolce\' and Beauregard Gallery will sponsor a St. Jude Children\'s Hospital benefit honoring 8 year old neighbor Aidan Waddell. Aidan was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma in 2010. Thanks to St. Jude in Baton Rouge and Memphis, Tennessee, he has no evidence of disease at this time and will remain a patient of St. Jude for life. He will be at Salon Dolce\' to meet and greet guest.

A donation of $25.00 or more per person can allow you to have a Taste Fair Sampling of a variety of holiday party foods or cocktails and garnishments with Mobster or art lessons with Alaine Di Benedetto at the Beauregard Gallery or a voucher for a therapuetic massage or haircut and style at Salon Dolce\'.
Both Beauregard Gallery and Salon Dolce\' will have artists present and art for sale.

African American Museum will be open and is a must see. Unique to the area and very impressive.
Refreshments will be served at all locations.

Local musicians will play throughout the evening.
