The Three Peaks area provides some of the most dramatic scenery in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Rugged limestone, valleys and fells and a famous viaduct are some of the highlights of this two centre workshop at Twisleton Scar and Ribblehead.
After an initial briefing and refreshments, our tour begins just North of Ingleton with a stroll through rugged limestone country followed by a short steep climb up onto Twisleton Scar. Here we find a wealth of photographic subjects including limestone pavement, windswept trees, a lone tree, a dramatic standing stone and spectacular views into the valley below and over towards the flat topped peak of Ingleborough.
In the afternoon we move locations up to Ribblehead and explore the surrounding area including the spectacular Ribblehead Viaduct. From here we can see all of the Yorkshire Three Peaks including Whernside, Pen-Y-Ghent in the far distance and a fine view of Ingleborough which provides our sunset shoot opportunity.
The workshop fee is GBP 115 (fee shown to right may vary with the exchange rate as quoted in USD). There is an optional post-processing session the day after the workshop in Harrogate for an additional GBP 30.
