311 North Street Gallery and Studios
The artists at 311 North Street (corner of North and Union) will be celebrating the holiday season with a festive reception and group art exhibit with the theme of “RED”. The gallery at the top of the Union Street entrance will feature works by 14 of the 19 studio artists. The event will take place during Pittsfield’s First Friday Artswalk, December 7, from 5-8 pm in the gallery and studios on the second floor at 311 North Street.
For a theme, the artists will display their own personal interpretation of “RED”. The exhibit will include works in oils, acrylics, mixed media, watercolor and silver and gemstone jewelry. The exhibiting artists include Joanie Ciolfi, Diane Firtell, Claudia Shuster, Scott Taylor, Dan Brody, Lisa Merullo, Debbie Carter, Ellen Joffe-Halpern, Dee Randolph, Sophie Lee, Sally Tiska-Rice, Susan Himmel, Dawn Metzer and Marguerite Bride.
In addition to the group show, many of the artists will also have “open studios” to tour and see additional art. And of course, delicious refreshments will be served. This exhibit will run through the month of December.
