In this workshop we will learn a lot about handling the watercolor and the water. Students will work on at least a half sheet (15x22”) of 300# Arches cold pressed watercolor paper creating an interesting close up flower composition, how to transfer to your paper and if flowers are in bloom we may even go out and photograph.
The paper will be moistened in various areas with color applied and manipulated at various stages. This not only helps you learn to handle the moisture of watercolor but also you will learn a lot about mixing color, creating hard and soft edges and learn why some things happen that you don’t want to occur.
