The class taught by working sculptor Eduardo Gomez is a step-by-step demonstration of the techniques involved in sculpting the human head in water-based
clay. With individualized instruction, students will create with two sculptures: an
écorché of the human head and neck
and a nuanced portrait of a live model.
No previous experience is required. Basic
anatomy and proportions of the head,
facial expressions, ages and racial differences will be covered. Price includes the model
fee, one bag of clay and the firing fee.
