Photography Workshop - Understanding Your Camera Controls

Ever wonder when to use shutter priority vs. aperture priority? Do you change your ISO speed rating to meet your needs, or do you just leave it on Auto? What about that eV compensation and all those presets?

If you find all those "extra" buttons, menu items and dials confusing, I can help clarify things a bit for you. For those people in the Parksville area, I hold monthly workshops at Island Exposures Art Gallery. I keep the groups small, so we can go over these concepts individually, with your equipment, so you get a better understanding of your camera.

Part of the workshop is allocated to classroom instruction, but we will also take some time to practice. We're located just one block from the beach, so weather permitting, we'll spend some time outside taking some photos.

Cost for the workshop is $25.00 per person. To pre-register for this workshop, please contact me via email (hallr62@hotmail.com).
