Photography Show by Kathy McClure
Kathy McClure will hang 104 pieces at the ASU Polytechnic campus library (at the old Williams Air Force Base). The show will feature scenes from Arizona - her canyons, her waterways and waterfalls, her missions, her deserts and her equine lifestyle. A smaller show within this exhibit will be "2012 - the Year of the Maya." This exhibit will include scenes from Maya ruins in both Belize and Guatemala. The entire exhibit will remain up until January 4, but the library will close for the holidays on December 21st.
Visitors may view the exhibit any day of the week. Monday through Thursday hours are 8 AM to Midnight. Fridays 8 am-7 PM. Saturday hours are 10-6 and Sunday hours are 2-10. Parking is free to the public on Saturdays and Sundays.
The library is located just off Sossamon Road at the NE corner of the campus. It is in the lower level of the Academic Center. For specific driving directions, visitors may call (480) 727-1037. During weekend hours, exhibit curator Katherine Sullivan will be present and can be reached at 480-727-1880.
All pieces in the exhibit will be for sale and exhibit lists are available at the front desk. Purchases may be made by contacting the artist. All proceeds from sales will go towards supporting medical missions to an aboriginal group in NE Ecuador.
