Pet Portrait Workshop
Impressionist pet portraitist Susan Jones reveals her secrets for accurate and expressive portraits! Students will start and finish their own pet portraits in this one-day workshop. Learn from Susan as she discusses the steps to a successful portrait, offers individual instruction, and even paints a portrait during the class. Register now for the January 26 Pet Portrait workshop located at Jerry's Artorama, Nashville. Students must bring their own paints and brushes. A list of needed supplies is listed below. Easels will be provided.

“Pet Portraits Workshop” Supply List
Set of 10 tubes of acrylic paints (found at Jerry's Artarama)
Large tube of Titanium White acrylic paint
Assorted long-handled brushes for Acrylic Paints. I like Pro Stroke or Windsor & Newton brands.
Palette (This can be a styrofoam plate or any flat surface covered in aluminum foil)
Paper palette covers, “Press and Seal” paper, or aluminum foil (for easy clean up)
Water in closed container
Viva Paper Towels (Trust me on this one)
Palette Knife
Wet Canvas Carrier ( a clean pizza box with masking tape will do)
Plastic grocery bag for trash
Pencil
Reference Photos… Emailed to Susan at least one week prior to class, susan@susanejones.com. Bring printed copy of reference photo to class with you.
