The Hanover Area Arts Guild’s show “Paint Hanover” opens June 4th, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Hanover and the 150th of the Battle of Hanover. Area artists will commemorate the community and its history in a variety of media. In addition, the painter Kirby Heldebridle, will be featured as the artist of the month.
The free public reception offering light refreshments is on Saturday June 8, from 2-4 pm. Also at that time Hanover author Peggy Santamaria, will be doing a book signing for The Spirit of Abby Cooper, a ghost story woven into the heritage of Hanover.
The gallery at 32 Carlisle Street, Hanover is open 10am-5pm on Tuesday and Thursday, 12pm-7pm on Wednesday and Friday, 10am-3pm on Saturday. For more information call 717-632-2521 or go to http://www.hanoverareaarts.com/.
