OPPOSITES ATTRACT at Tantra Coffee House
Tantra Coffee House, 217 Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas. Opposites Attract showing in the two front rooms of this San Martian hang-out. Saturday, December 1st, through New Years. Great Coffee, vino & beer, some of the best Live Music in Central Texas and a young, \'hip\' atmosphere.
My partner in Art and Life, Diane, creates abstract acrylic paintings that I call non-objective imagery, where Pareidolia in the viewer\'s mind creates the image and fills in the details. Kandinsky might really enjoy her paintings.
In my drawings, the materialistic objective is quite evident. Kandinsky might say that I have faked the 3rd dimension and created a make believe perspective.
We often exhibit together as OPPOSITES ATTRACT (because we are) for the visual counterpoint effect.
