Opening Reception Party for “SO EAST LOS: NEW ARTWORK BY JOSE RAMIREZ AND RAMON RAMIREZ” & “Armando Baeza, Sculptor”

Main Gallery:
Avenue 50 Studio is proud to present SO EAST LOS, an exhibition by two LA-based artists; Jose Ramirez and Ramon Ramirez. Their art is deeply rooted in the urban fabric of Los Angeles. Both Jose and Ramon share a commonality reflected in their color palate and love of community.

Annex Room:
Armando Baeza has been sculpting since 1949. He has worked with all major toy companies such as Mattel and Hasbro sculpting dolls and animals. Starting off in clay, which was his first love, he then moved into bronze sculpture. Baeza sculpts the beautiful “Niños del Sol” award for the yearly Los Angeles County Bilingual Directors Association Award for outstanding community contributions. He’ll be exhibiting a special selection of limited edition bronzes. This is Baeza’s first one-person show at the Avenue 50 Studio.

7pm-10pm. Light refreshments will be served.
