On the Banks Art Show Opening Reception

Our "On the Banks" exhibition focuses on the coastline of Southeastern Connecticut, and features watercolor artist Lizbeth Maxson McGee and seven fellow artists in an exhibtion that opens on Thursday, May 30, 2013 and runs through Friday, June 21, 2013. The Opening Reception is scheduled for Thursday, June 6th from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM.

We are looking forward to this exciting new show! Liz McGee and "friends" are back with a stellar series of new paintings. Liz's subject matter, "Views and Vignettes," will showcase pictorially why we, and all of our many visitors, flock to this area. Her fluid watercolor depictions of sky and water meeting "our banks" will refresh the soul. Prominently featured are other talented area artists lending their vision in oils and pastel:
