NUfaces of NUartists

To celebrate the one year anniversary of the wildly
successful Pittsfield Artswalk, NUarts studios and gallery presents two different events!

A group show "NUfaces of NUartists"
with about a dozen participating artists submitting
some very original and creative self portraits in mediums including oil, watercolor, acrylic, collage, mixed media and photography.

I decided to challenge my self by painting a self portrait in four different mediums. By doing this project I had thoughts of choosing one medium as a staple medium. What I decided was I continue loved working with all four medium choices. It was interesting to enjoy many memories of years as I spent time with "The Lady In The Mirror". In a busy world of concentrating on the future with many dead lines it was comforting to concentrate on the moment while enjoying memories creating these pieces.

And a floorwide, spring cleaning and birthday celebration of First Fridays.
Artists in the group will have everything from original works in all mediums; prints, jewelry, decorative arts, photography and even some art supplies. Most of the artists on the floor will be offering items for sale and are busy marking down almost everything.

I will marking down my studio works that are under $200.00 by 20% to celebrate this event.
Excluding metal art and greeting cards.
Works over $200.00 are eligible for Art Bucks.

Thanks to the great folks at Berkshire Money Management, the ARTSBUCK is back for the month of May in honor of First Fridays Artswalk's first anniversary! This time around, if you buy an original artwork for $200 or more from an Artswalk partner, Berskhire Money Managment will donate $100 to the local non-profit of your choice!
