Mystery and Movement in Watercolor

There is mystery and movement in Darcy Schneider’s watercolor paintings. Darcy loves the spontaneous and sometimes unexpected ways in which water and paint mingle. She actively explores her art and the creative process through workshops and self-study even as she continues her successful career as a speech therapist. Darcy is a member of Waterloo Watercolor Group and the Elgin Art Association. Her work has been exhibited in numerous juried shows, receiving a Merit Award in the 2012 Waterloo Watercolor Group Spring Show, and “People’s Choice” Awards for two years in a row at the Pearls Before Swine Art Show held during the Elgin Hogeye Festival.
