Marvels in Metal and Stone

The Orland Art Center and Gallery is pleased to present this months selected artists for this months showing. Reception starts March 1st from 3pm – 7pm and the show lasts through March 23rd.

Peter Piatt's versatility is in full display in this exhibit. Abstract metal and concrete sculptures, fascinating photography captured on metal prints, and exciting versions of nature printed on metallic paper clearly prove Peter's artistic talents. A meticulous craftsman, Peter Piatt proves that common elements like metal and stone are full of artistic promise. His artist's eye and creative drive keep Peter always searching for new modes of expression, beautifully reflected in this show.

The show also features Master Stone Mason and superb Stone Sculptor Augustine Julian Velasquez, Equestrian photographer Jo Danehy's who’s metal prints are always in demand.

Meet these amazing artists at their reception, Friday, March 1st, from 3 to 7 p.m. Also they will docent the gallery during throughout the month. Check for dates when they will be there.

Enjoy excellent refreshments and live music. This month's talented young musician is pianist Nick Leach.
