Malham Landscape Photography Workshop

Do you enjoy landscape photography and want to get more from your pictures? Do you love the Yorkshire Dales and want to capture memories?

You\\\'ll see that problem solving with lots of practice in the field creates a solid photography technique for the rest of your photography days. The key to these workshops is giving you time at one or two locations.

Aperture, exposure, composition, ND and ND graduated filters and much more are explained throughout the day in simple non-teccie speak to encompass your specific needs.

A maximum of 5 guests so you can benefit from maximum individual attention while we explore the Yorkshire countryside epitomised by \\\'Emmerdale\\\' and \\\'The Dales\\\'

Malham is a small village nestled in the Yorkshire Dales full of Yorkshire charm, surrounded by some of the most dramatic landscapes that provide ample photographic opportunities from the wide landscapes to small macro shots. A few of the places we may visit are:

Janet’s Foss, named after Jennet who was believed to be the queen of the local fairies who lives behind the fall in a cave. The pool was once used to wash sheep before shearing,

Gordale Scar. Carved by glacier meltwaters, this began life as a huge cavern which later collapsed, leaving behind 260 feet high vertical cliff faces and the very picturesque Gordale Beck that cascades over masses of fallen rock.

Malham Tree. An amazing symmetrical tree high on the beautifully symmetrical limestone with views over malhamdale looking like a little Tuscany in the afternoon mists looking over to Pendle Hill in that other county.

Winskills. A typical wizened hawthorn with it's own limestone pavement overlooking Ingleborough.
