A SHOW OF ART & POETRY runs January 19, 2013 - March 15, 2013

OPENING RECEPTION SATURDAY, January 19th, 6-8 PM

THIS SHOW FEATURES: Salma Arastu’s new Poem-Paintings inspired by the poems of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, a thirteenth- century Persian Sufi poet. Arastu, a Bay Area artist in pursuit of peace and positive interfaith dialogue through the arts, recreates a peaceful and trance-like imagery conveying messages of love and unity. Her new exhibition is supported by the East Bay Community Foundation through “Fund for Artists”.
