Join our small group of photographers, as we photograph Birds of Prey with the true beauty of nature as our backdrop.Photographers of all skill levels have an exciting opportunity to photograph Stunning Raptor Models - Wildlife Ambassadors up close.


OVERVIEW:
This hands on experiential workshop will provide the opportunity for guests to photograph raptors in natural outdoor settings.This Eco friendly Photography Workshop reduces photographers environmental footprint. Photograph majestic Birds of Prey. Capture compelling and captivating images. Raptors are perched on a variety of attractive natural perches creating images that appear to have been captured in nature. There are no bars, enclosures or cages between you and the birds.

While this workshop is photography based,Wildlife enthusiast occasionally join us to experience the true joy of spending time with these magnificent raptors.

The Raptor Line Up ..... 5-7 will appear from this list:

-Barn Owl
-Barred Owl
-Eastern Screech Owl
-American Kestrel
-Merlin Falcon
-Peregrine Falcon
-Red Tailed Hawk

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This workshop provides photographers with the unique opportunity to photograph birds of prey in a controlled natural outdoor setting.
The morning begins with an informal (outdoors) education and informational session. During which time you will learn tips aimed at providing participants with the opportunity to capture the best possible compelling and natural images.
Level of Physical Challenge: Easy.

8:30 am - 10:00 am
-Introductions
-Individual Preparation
-Education Session and Tips.
-Perch Set Up
-Photographers Set Up

- 2 hour Raptor Photography Session.*Featuring 5-7 amazing birds from the "Line Up" for photography.

12:00 Noon - Dusk
Enjoy the rest of the day at Mountsberg on your own with our compliments. Discover numerous trails and several other nature photo opportunities. Explore the Birds of Prey, Watch a Raptor Flight. Attend a Raptors in Flight Show. Stroll though the Barn Yard. Browse the Gift Shop.

ABOUT THE BIRDS:
These birds are well loved and cared for. Most have come to the Center after rehabilitation.Some are unable to be released back to the wild due to their circumstances. Others are part of the Center's Breeding Program, many become future Wildlife Ambassadors" who will become part of the Educational Program, aimed at raising awareness with the goal of protecting species and reducing future extinction.

REGISTRATION DETAILS: $125.00 Per Person

Early Registration is highly recommended. Limited Spaces.
Please "contact" me (first) to determine if space is available. Payment options/specifics can be discussed at this time.
All Workshops require preregistration and advance payment to secure space. Space is Limited.
Guests are required to prepay in full for all workshops. Workshops commence rain or shine. *Photographers need to have a good understanding of their own camera and settings (shutter speeds,f-stop, aperture,white balance etc..) as this will not be covered.
