LITTLE PoP

LITTLE PoP is my very first series of digitally enhanced photographs. Leigh Bowery and a portait of my mother inspires it. In referencing one of his ‘looks’, Leigh said, “This new look is a cross between polka dots and skin rash…simulating infection and disease.” In this series, I’ve loved applying this concept to some of the icons of our times. Are icons perfect or imperfect?
