Dreams, Visions and other Illusions

Keith Dillon
A thought-provoking exhibit of super-surreal images, that have their genesis in the artist\'s dreams and visions. An impressive body of work that questions our preconceptions, and the effects of mass culture on the universal unconscious, as well as our very reality. These are photographs of concrete objects, cobbled together into chimerical images, that defy the bounds of memory and offer an eerie mirror image of our daily vista, and of our collective dreamscape. And, after all, are not our memories really but dreams? This is art that not only makes you think, but dream, in new ways.

Linda Olsen - \"segmented\" Art Castings

\"It’s all in the eye of the beholder. Come to Mile Post 5 and behold my segmented visions. Cast in my dreams of a world I choose to be in.\" –Linda Olsen

Sentient Beings Are Numberless

\"Over the past decade I\'ve been surrounded by the works of Tibetan Buddhist and Chinese Masters, most recently by Zen Brush Painting while living in a Buddhist monastery.

\"These powerful simple images along with my own daily meditation practice are influences throughout my work.

\"However, since moving to Portland I notice some fanciful if not strange microbial creatures creeping into my paintings. Could it be something in the rain water?

\"Cast your own Indra\'s Net and decide.\"
