DEAN TRIOLO RETROSPECTIVE 1999-2009

LOCAL ARTIST DEAN TRIOLO\\\\\\\'S WORKS TO BE IN NEW JOHNNY DEPP SCI FI FILM;

RETROSPECTIVE EXHIBIT SET FOR 3-WEEK RUN IN DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH; OPENING DAY ON JULY 6 FEATURES EVENING RECEPTION

LONG BEACH, Calif. — Celebrated local artist Dean Triolo, who will have paintings featured in Johnny Depp\\\\\\\'s new science fiction movie, will headline a one-man art exhibit to be presented next month by the Cultural Alliance of Long Beach. The show will feature more than 40 paintings by Triolo, including five that will be seen in the movie \\\\\\\"Transcendence,\\\\\\\" which stars Depp and Morgan Freeman. The movie is due for release in April 2014.

Triolo is known for his dazzling and energetic abstracts, has works that hang in collections from West Hollywood to Switzerland. His art has appeared in the A&E TV series \\\\\\\"Designing Blind,\\\\\\\" and recently his \\\\\\\"Expectations Yellow,\\\\\\\" an oil on wood panel, was selected as a part of the California Contemporary Art Collection at the California State Capitol Museum. Triolo has made a specialty of exploring the aesthetic and spiritual properties of radiant energy. He has been inspired by and credits the influence of the divergent artistic styles of abstract Expressionism, Italian High Renaissance and Impressionism.

\\\\\\\"My work seeks to establish the intricate web between energy and the emotion of its rhythmic patterns,\\\\\\\" says Triolo, a Long Beach resident who has been producing fine art works for the past 15 years. He is a former resident of Culver City where he was part of a popular artists co-op and helped initiate that city’s annual art walk. \\\\\\\"All things are atomic structure. Atoms have a constant vibrational energy. When I see with my creative eye, my intuitive sense is asking, \\\\\\\'What is the energy of that?\\\\\\\' I am looking for a vibrational translation of whatever I am seeing,\\\\\\\" he says.
