Dark Icons Art Show

Please join me for my first solo show at Doc's Place in Lincoln, Ne. Opening night is September 6th, 2013 from 6 pm to 10 pm during the First Friday Art Walk.

In all of pop culture there are certain characters that have an edge that others don't. That edge is different for each persona but they all fall into the category of being a "badass". Someone you mess with at your own peril. The hardest part was deciding what characters to include. I tried to cover a range of what it is to be a badass as well as give each piece it's own voice, look and feeling. I drew from the artist I like best and tried many new approaches through-out the stages of creating these.

The show will be up until the end of the month.
