Creative Layering The Endless Mystery of Collage 2-Day Workshop

The Brazos Valley Art League is proud to host this exciting workshop by renowned artist Judi Coffey.

Judi Coffey’s Creative Layering collage workshop emphasizes design using collage materials through color and experimentation. You can use acrylics, hand colored papers, copies of old photos and hand written letters, stamps (your own designs) and fabric. You can use an unplanned approach to stretch your imagination, leave your comfort zone and find a uniqueness that is yours alone. Join Judi in a “free-for-all.” Her hope is for every artist, whether beginner or professional, traditional or contemporary, to return home with endless ideas for new expression in their paintings. This workshop explores what can happen when risk taking and intuition combine to create more interesting works of art.
