Leo Koo Gallery (LKG) is pleased to present ‘Composition,’ a focus on the placement of elements and devices in artworks as mirroring the highly manipulated nature of signs in today’s visual culture. The potentiality of images to control, inspire and provoke is foregrounded with an exhibition of contemporary drawings and sculptures that collectively express a troubling relationship between audience and object.

Leandro Garcia Pimentel is an Argentinean artist who has shown extensively in Buenos Aires. His most recent works at LKG reveal his interest in the intersection between the experience of looking and the observed object.

Susanna Blunt, who currently lives and works in North Vancouver, has exhibited in group shows internationally and in one-woman shows in France, Hong Kong and Canada. The transition in her artistic practice from realist portrait painting to abstract sculpture has resulted in the continuing evolution and expansion of her creative direction.
