Celebrate Spring Colors in Silk painting with Gunter Schwegler

Capture the beauty and soft colors of spring skies, wildflowers and fresh foliage in shimmering hand-painted silk using a resist method and water-based dyes that flow like watercolor. Release your inner artist as you create two painted silks, either 12"x 60" or 26" square, while learning brush control, color mixing, shading and a bit of history. Advanced students can make one large silk. No experience necessary. Saturday, May 4, 2013, 9:30am - 4:30pm. Bring a bag lunch. Cost includes all materials, $80, or $70 for PAA members. We need 6 to host this class, you’ll need to sign up before April 27,2013.
