I will be finally getting the time & have the transportation to get out to some of the gorgeous Texas State Parks and have some of my favorite subjects to photograph and show them as I see them in their quaint and full beauty. For Beginner/Intermediate/Enthusiast


Going to Colorado Bend State Park 11/22/2013 thru 11/24/2013 for a hike to Gorman falls via the Gorman Falls Trail a 3 mile round trip photo shoot from the parking lot to the falls and back. A shorter 1.5 mile round trip guided tour, which is about two hours may be available, there may be additional fees for the tour (at your expense), Availability will have to be checked with the Rangers on Saturday morning, 11/23/2013 if that tour is going to be available and we will have time for set up and photos that could be an option if not, the Gorman Falls trail is accessible at our leisure and will be the preferred shoot. I will proceed whatever the weather is for some awesome photography !

Call ahead or I will see you at the Park 6:30 PM 11/22/2013. I will be available for any questions you have regarding the shoot Settings etc. Please be prepared and do bring a Tripod or Monopod, I do recommend a Tripod and any camera or lenses you have. I'm pretty sure we can get the right settings for most DSLR cameras.The registration fees are $99.00 per person. Registration fees do not include Campground or Campsite cost or meals. Plan on having a great time and we will share camera knowledge settings ect., and I promise at least most of us will learn something and have a great time. I will also cover the software program Photomatix Pro 4.27 and post processing information that I use for realistic landscape photography. If you have Photomatix Pro software and a laptop please bring it along with you. Also be prepared with your tent, RV and provisions for a fun campout/photographic adventure. If weather allows I will also try to do some Star photography/long exposure or whatever might be fun for our photographic passion. All registration fees are non-refundable.

Gear (Whats in my bag) My bag will be on rollers toting my K5 and K7 bodies, For Lenses I will bring my 70-200 f2.8, my 150-500 Big Sig lens, my 18-250 and a 70-300 a 50mm prime, 28mm prime probably a 2x teleconverter, battery grip,Tri-pod, cable release, Towels, Lights for Possible light painting at night, extra batteries, speedlights and rain gear for the possibility of rain. Rain or shine I will be there for some awesome photography.
