Artists United for Sharks - Saving Sharks

The Ocean Artists Society public awareness initiative called "ARTISTS UNITED FOR SHARKS - SAVING SHARKS"

We all know the drastic changes our planet has undergone just in the last couple of decades. We do what we can to adjust our lifestyles to lessen our impact. We try to relay to others how we should protect our Earth. But not all of us can produce scientific papers, nor broadcast to millions in a TED presentation, nor talk in front of hundreds or thousands about the state of our planet and/or the beauty she holds. But we feel a need to deliver our message to the masses in the hopes of helping our Earth.


So we use another "voice" to convey our passion. We deliver to the masses a different way of looking at our Earth. We use ART. We recreate, we paint, we forge, we film, we teach, we touch, we use our talent to convey our message. Some of us use clay while others use a video camera and editing software. One will use a pencil to draw a scene while another uses that same pencil to draw a lesson plan for young children.


Now this is THE objective to the Ocean Artists Society:
Using ocean art to inspire people around the world to a greater awareness of our need to preserve our natural world.
