Arizona: Home of the Grand Canyon, gateway to Monument Valley. A desert place of red rock & cactus forests, but also massive dams & manmade lakes. A hot, rugged land whose peoples’ long history spans ancient cliff dwellings, pueblos, railways & mines, ranches, western towns, Route 66, and modern cities.
In June 2012, Alberta photographers Peter Carroll and Royce Howland took their cameras and travelled south on a collaborative project. Whether you’re a seasoned snowbird or have never been to this iconic southwest state, come and share a vision of their experiences in photos.
