My name is Albert Heuer and I have lived most of my life in different parts of the Colorado Rockies. These places have left quite an impression on me, and this comes through in my photography. This special land has many faces and a huge variety of landforms. Each of these places has an individual unique history. Through my camera I capture the past as it exists today. At the same time I want to help the viewer see it as I do- in the objects historical context. It is a passion of mine to hunt out lost places and hidden gems and take my photos of them. I am only seeking an avenue toward the discovery of myself through the art of photography. In turn I also seek to discover the lost places that live or exist right next to me.
