Room with a View will run through February 16, 2013. Established in 2004, Gateway Gallery is owned and operated entirely by local artists. This affords visitors an opportunity to meet the artists themselves in a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere. The diversity found among this group can be seen in the wide range of art which is exhibited therein. Artwork ranges from traditional landscapes to contemporary abstraction, and it is presented in a variety of mediums. Additionally, invitations are extended to guest artists to exhibit eight times a year and receptions are held in conjunction with these shows. The gallery offers affordable, reasonably priced art from award winning artists. Exhibits typically run every six weeks, featuring one of the gallery’s resident artists as well as three visiting artists. Located in downtown Clayton, Mo., the gallery is walking distance to other galleries and many of St. Louis’ finest restaurants and cafés, making it a “must-stop” destination for art lovers, art collectors and designers.
