This wonderful new show features the highly anticipated photographic work of Catherine Easton. Landscapes, seascapes, and stills have been worked together to form a narration that moves from the closing down of summer shores to the seasonal changes of the inland country. Harvest to Frost
Photography by Catherine Easton
The summer season winds down, memories reflect in the fishouse windows by the dock, and a last evening at the shore finishes the season. Clouds from the west signal a weather change near the lighthouse, waves kick up and early frost covers the marshes. Folks head back home to the country.
Autumn blows in, setting the landscape afire leaving bright traces in the canopy above, Sunrises become spectacular, harvest abounds, the land becomes stark, and we settle home for the holidays.
