Have you ever failed in an attempt to communicate a feeling? Or perhaps were feeling too many at one time to verbally define them all? Artist Leigha Sherman has experienced the frustration this mental blockage can create and has strived to illustrate these obscure emotions in her various work. What does being overwhelmed look like inside the mind? How many emotions run thru unrequited affection? Ever wonder what color faith is?
The Palestine Texas Museum will be featuring the exhibit “Expression!: Illustrating Obscure Emotions” from July 1st thru August 31st, just so you can find out the answers to these unusual questions. Admission is free throughout the week. Join us on Friday, July 5th at 7pm for a chance to meet the artist, at 400 Micheaux Avenue. Refreshments, coffee, wine and live music will enhance your evening as you mingle thru our gallery and experience one artist’s renditions of those indefinable emotions we all experience.
