Contest Rules

The Love of a Dog PHOTOGRAPHY PHOTOGRAPHS depicting the unconditional love that a dog has for a human.

Photograph MUST portray the love a dog has for a human.

This is not a cute dog contest, do not just post a cute photograph of a dog unless it clearly shows love for a person or persons. Images of a dog just looking at the camera are not what we are looking for. Photographs do not have to include people in them, but if they don't, the image must clearly depict loyalty, love or dedication or any other emotion we attach to a dog's behavior that we believe is love for us. If you are in doubt about what I mean, take a look at the avatar for this contest, the title of the image is '3:30'. A spaniel is watching out the window, waiting for the children to come home from school, which exhibits love.

Voting will be done by a jury of FAA members.

1. PHOTOGRAPHS only.
2. 2 photographs per member.
3. Images must be of high quality. If your image follows the rule about a dog(s) showing loving emotion for a human, but is of poor photographic quality, it will be removed.
4. Photographs must look like photographs. No photographs edited to look like paintings or sketches or anything other than a photograph.
5. Family friendly images only

Removal of any image will be done without warning or explanation if the image does not follow the rules of this contest.
