Contest Rules

The Beauty of FirearmsIn the design of firearms it is necessary that form follows function, and from this imperative gunmakers throughout the history of gunmaking have produced practical and functional implements. In doing so, they have also often produced implements of a peculiar beauty, guns which are as much a pleasure to hold and display as they are to carry and shoot.

Some gunmakers, gunsmiths, and especially gun owners, have also customized and personalized firearms to make them unique and to add to their appeal to the hand and eye.

The purpose of this contest is to celebrate the beauty of the firearm. You may post images in any medium. There may be people in the image, but the central focus should be on the firearm itself, highlighting that aspect or element which makes it an item of exceptional beauty. Both modern and antique firearms images are welcome.

Each contestant is limited to two images only. You may vote for three.

NOTE: Images inconsistent with the purpose of the contest, as clearly stated above, will be deleted without warning or notice. FOCUS IS ON THE FIREARM!
