Small Towns in Midwest America

The Midwest has about 8,500 towns with populations less than 20,000. Midwest LivingŪ writers and editors have been looking for the best ones since the magazine's first issue in 1987. They have posted their top 100 small-town getaways at http://www.midwestliving.com/travel/around-the-region/100-best-midwest-small-town-getaways/.

This contest is an opportunity for you to show off your small-town Midwest images for all to see. The logo is my image capturing Ephraim, Wisconsin. All mediums are welcome.

1. The image must show scenes from small towns (buildings, main streets, people, events, transportation, recreational activities, etc.).

2. The image must have been captured/created in a small town in one of the 12 Midwest states -- Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas. The town and state must be included in the tag, description or title.

3. Photography, paintings or drawings are included.

4. Family friendly: if images contain people, no nudity; no graffiti displayed; no dark gothic images.

5. Images will be removed without notice that do not fit the contest parameters.

6. If you are not yet a member, you are invited to join the MIDWEST AMERICA Group. Note the group's focus and guidelines.

Each participant may submit 5 images.

1)   You must be a member of FineArtAmerica.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
