September 2015 Logo Contest for Images That Excite...

It is time for our monthly contest to select a September logo for the Images That Excite You Group. The rules for the contest follow:

This is a group members-only contest. Along with displaying the winning image, the owner's name and link to their FAA site will also be displayed on our group home page. Since we emphasize social media to promote our work, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winning images will be shared on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest (unless the owner declines). In addition to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, 'Honorable Mention' recognition will also be awarded to those images that are selected 4th through 10th place in the contest. The prize for the 'honorable mention' images will be four Twitter tweets over a 24 hour period and a post on Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest (as your settings allow).

Group members are encouraged to join in promoting the winners. Of course, such promotion is always at your discretion. The winning image will be displayed throughout September.

Any of your images are eligible, whether or not they are already displayed in the group gallery. Of course they must conform to our family friendly rule. Each person may submit one image and can vote for as many different images as they desire. In case of a tie, the winning images will be displayed as our logo one at a time for a month each. The next contest will not be scheduled until after the last winning image is displayed.

This contest provides another opportunity for wider exposure of your work.

As a reminder, since this contest is to select the group logo, it is only open to group members. New members are certainly welcome to participate.

Each participant may submit 1 image.

1)   You must be a member of FineArtAmerica.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
