Contest Rules

Seasonal Transition - Winter to SpringPLEASE take a moment to read the rules:

Photographs Only.

Submit up to two photos that show the winter season gradually transitioning to spring. The image should contain ELEMENTS OF BOTH SEASONS.

For example, the logo image shows receding ice on a small pond, and an overturned rowboat and floating dock. The boat and dock suggest springtime activity. The ice is a reminder of winter.

The receding ice would be enough to qualify here, as it depicts ice and open water, suggesting change.

A picture of a bud on a branch would NOT qualify, as there is NO winter element. Icy rocks in a running stream would NOT qualify, as that scene could be shot in mid winter.

NO PEOPLE. NO ANIMALS. Buildings and other objects are OK if the basic criterion is met.

Non conforming images will be deleted without notice.

VOTE TRADING AND SOLICITATION will not be tolerated. Please play fair.

And please, submit ONLY your best images. Save the holiday snapshots for Facebook!
