Polar Regions - New Group Avatar

Welcome to the group 'Polar Regions' (previously Penguins in the Wild).
To participate in this contest, you must be a member of the group.

The polar regions of Earth, also known as Earth's frigid zones, are the regions of Earth surrounding its geographical poles (the North and South Poles). These regions are dominated by Earth's polar ice caps, the northern resting on the Arctic Ocean and the southern on the continent of Antarctica.

Only images from the polar regions to be submitted to this contest. The location of your image must be clearly marked in the description field of your image. Yes, you can submit any medium!

Images have to be from:
Arctic:
the United States (Alaska), Canada, Denmark (Greenland), Norway, Finland, Sweden, Iceland, and Russia.

Antarctica, is only Antarctica (including Falkland Islands & South Georgia island)

No animals in captivity will be accepted into this contest. No Polar Bears in the Zoo, no penguins in the Zoo or any Bio Dome will be accepted.

You can submit 2 images, and you have unlimited votes. Voting by FAA members only.
Vote SOLICITATION will not be tolerated.

One of the top 3 winners, will be displayed as the group logo for a while.
Which of the top 3 winners will be decided by the hostess.

The hostess will participate in the contest, but can not win.

NO HUNTING images please (polar bear hunting seal for example). Keep it family friendly.

NOTE: Previous 1st place winners (in any contest) can not attend. New works should be given the opportunity to win and to be showcased.

Rules:
NO REP OR AGENT to attend this contest! This contest is for PRIVATE MEMBERS of FAA only!
2 images per contestant
NO previous 1st Place winning images (in any contest) can participate.
All art works in any genre are welcome.
NO vote solicitation is accepted
You can vote for as many as you like
Hostess deem the rights to remove any image not following the rules without any explanation.
The hostess also deem the rights to change the order of the winners, if she finds that the winning images are of poor quality. If so happens, a clear critique will be given to the images removed from their winning positions.

Group Logo winner picked by the hostess, must agree to give hostess a low resolution image to be used as the avatar.

The winners will be featured in: Polar Regions!

Each participant may submit 2 images.
