PHOTO PLUS ONE version take two

The outcome of this contest is for the administrator of this contest to self-publish a 'Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book comprised of fine artists from around the world committed to the belief that creating an awareness that finding a cure for cancer is not enough . . . Unless the cure is made available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay to survive. . . There is No Cure.

PHOTO PLUS ONE, the Title of this contest, is also the proposed Title of this 'Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book. Cancer affects at least one other person and usually impacts many more . . . Hence Plus One.

By entering this contest you agree to give the administer of this contest use your image(s) with photo credit to you in his 'Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book titled Photo Plus One.

Submission Rules:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: EVERY image SUBMITTED must be a photograph that includes an image of at least one other visual art medium.

1. Each participant my submit 3 images
2. Each image must be a photograph that includes an image of at least one other visual art medium.
3. All submitted images must be rated for family viewing.
4. You may only vote once per image.
5. Images may be digitally altered in any way

General Information :

1. ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THIS CONTEST WILL BE LISTED IN THE ACKNOWEDGEMENT PAGES OF THE FINAL PUBLISHED BOOK REGARDLESS IF YOU WIN OR NOT.

2. Based upon the number of images submitted, it is an expectation that at least 300 images from participants’ will be included in the 'Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book.

3. Only two images per participant will be considered included in the “Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book.

4. This Contest requires at least 150 participants.

5. The top 20 participants with the most votes (not images) will be featured with a brief Bio and a photo of the participant (optional).

6. All included photo images will be credited to the author with a link to their website.

Contest Prizes:

FIRST PRIZE:

Three signed copies of final published 'Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book titled Photo Plus One.

SECOND PRIZE:

Two signed copies of final published 'Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book titled Photo Plus One.

THIRD PRIZE:

One signed copy of final published 'Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book titled Photo Plus One

ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THIS CONTEST WILL BE LISTED IN THE ACKNOWEDGEMENT PAGES OF THE FINAL PUBLISHED BOOK REGARDLESS IF YOU WIN OR NOT.


Prizes will be acknowledged after the voting, however the prizes will be distributed to the winners after the 'Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book titled Photo Plus One is published. This may take up to six months.

Footnote:

This is my first contest, Thank you for participating . . . I will need to contact the winning participants after the contest is over to obtain a good file of their submitted image(s) to include in the photo 'Photo Essay' / Coffee Table Book titled Photo Plus One . . . and the addresses that the winners want their signed copies of the essay to be sent to, but we can deal with that later.

TO ALL PARTICIPANTS PLEASE READ, THIS IS AN ADDENDUM POSTED AFTER THE CONTEST STARTED. I INADVERTENTLY POSTED TWO VERSIONS OF THE SAME CONTEST WHILE I WAS EDITING THE WORDING AND DICOVERED THAT I CANNOT DELETE ONE OF THE VERVIONS AFTER THE CONTEST STARTED.

NO PROBLEM . . . I WILL HONOR BOTH VERSIONS AND APPLY THE INITIAL CRITERIA TO BOTH VERSIONS. IF BOTH VERSIONS MEET THE CRITERA, I WILL PUBLISH TWO 'PHOTO PLUS ONE (photo essays).

One will be noted as 'Take One' and the other 'Take Two' and the prizes and acknowledgement will be the same for both versions. If neither version meets the threshold of at least 150 participants, but the meet that threshold combined then I will both versions into a single book and recognize the voting accordingly.

For me, my error is a win/win for everyone . . . the potential for twice as many artists creating awareness that finding a cure for cancer is not enough . . . Unless the cure is made available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay to survive. . . There is No Cure.

1)   Votes may be cast by any visitor to FineArtAmerica.com (members and non-members).

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for a total of 6 different images... but again, only once for any given image.
