Painted or Drawn Portraits People Only This is a quick contest! Absolutely no digitally created works, no photos, etc. ONLY traditionally created portraits (everything else will be deleted). What is a portrait? I consider a portrait to be an image of a person, waist up or full figure if seated (as in the contest logo picture). It can be more than one person, again, as long as they are in the pose of a portrait. Sorry, but absolutely no animal portraits, unless the animal is secondary to a human (example: little Susie holding her kitten). Please, no nudity in this one! One entry per person. Vote solicitors will be boiled in oil, so let your work stand on it's own merit! Two days to get your entries in and then two days to vote. Top three will be featured on our home page until the next contest rolls around. I will be entering a piece for exposure, but please, once again, do NOT vote for my image. When I started this contest I did not anticipate there being any 'gray area' about what is a portrait and when does it become a figural piece. I've now deleted several images that I feel are not portraits, but figurals. I've also deleted several nudes since I specifically requested that none be submitted to this contest. It wasn't always an easy decision as some were definitely in that 'gray' area. If I deleted your image and you feel I was not correct in doing so, message me privately to tell me why you think it should be included.
