Painted on Black

Traditional paintings only. That includes oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastel, and colored pencil. No digitally rendered work, no photographs or digitally enhanced photos.
What I am looking for is traditional art with black backgrounds. The avatar is an example.
No nudes, no violence or gore please!!!
Do not submit your work, then remove and add again for positioning to be viewed first. Not only do I consider this cheating and inconsiderate of those who are posted toward the end, it also in VERY inconvenient for the person hosting the contest.
